The Franklin Library, Addendum to 100 Greatest Books of All Time 25 Book Lot Set
Franklin Library - 25 Book Lot (RARE Addendum to 100 Greatest Books of All Time). Complete 25 Volume Addition to Franklin Library's "100 Greatest Books of All Time"! One of the more difficult, and beautiful, Franklin Library runs to put together. Many of you may be familiar with the aforementioned 100 Greatest... You may or may not be acquainted with this exclusive 25 volume run that served as a continuance of that set. This was an exclusive run, available only to long time subscribers, who acquired the "100 Greatest Books of All Time". Please refer to the letter, in our photos, that was included in the Mark Twain volume (1st in this run). These titles were typically released later in other Franklin Library sets. However, this run preceded those sets and featured unique and exquisite covers. They are not identified as belonging to any of the later sets. They are only associated with "100 Greatest" subscriptions. Fully and tightly bound in genuine leather.

22kt gold accents deeply inlaid on the "hubbed" spine and covers. Heavy duty binding boards enhance the books durability.

Superbly printed on acid-neutral paper that lasts for generations. Sewn pages not just glued like ordinary books. Handsome moiré end pages and a satin-ribbon page marker. Rigorous inspection at every stage ensured adherence to exacting standards and the highest quality. Superb craftsmanship and commitment to quality. The appeal for collecting Franklin Library comes from the exquisite quality. Condition may vary slightly, but books are typically in Near Fine or Fine condition. There are occasional imperfections, such as minor scuffs or scratches to the gilt page edges. Special care was taken to not fully "crack" the book when taking photos, as many of these volumes are unopened/unread.
