So now I have two set of original clothes for this little doll. This doll was my mother's, she was born in 1912 so I assume the doll is from the 1910s. The only making I can definitely read is M T on the upper back. This a stiff neck all bisque doll, a miniature with his neck slightly turned, a very attractive pose. The face is lovely, very cute features, all painted, blue eyes and blonde hair but unfortunately little hair is left.
It is 13cms tall or about 5 inches. That doll must have had a red hat, there is remnants of red paint on the back of the head, see photos. There are also two red marks on the top of the forehead, I think to position the wig or the hat?
I have not try to clean or temper with this little doll, so what you see is what you will receive. Request more pictures if desired. The red embroidery thread has bled over the silk of the little costume, see photos. The right foot is been glued and the black paint has a small chip, see photos.PLEASE LOOK AT OTHER LISTINGS.
