Original LIONEL #2270 Jersey Central Passenger Set plus #2534 All E+ Condition. One of the premier sets of the postwar era, this Jersey Central passenger set was a one year only (1956) offering. The set came with either a glossy or dull orange locomotive. This one has the glossy version.

The locomotive is 100% unrestored original condition. Like most original FM cabs, it has the cursed screw hole cracks in both ends. This locomotive runs like a top, with two Pullmor motors providing the power. The correct passenger cars for this set have flat channels on the sides where the name plates are glued on to the car.

All four of the cars are correct for this set. I have owned this set for about 30 years, and I guarantee your satisfaction.
