Los Angeles Angels two way star hitter/pitcher. Ohtani is the 2021 unanimous AL MVP after going 9-2 on the mount with 156 Ks in 130.1 innings and a 3.18 ERA. To add to that, Ohtani hit 46 home runs, knocked in 100 RBIs, scored 103 runs and stole 26 bases (a combined 9.0 WAR for those of you that are into the WAR stat).

This Ohtani rookie card has the special All Star game silver foil stamp on the front of the card, found only in a limited edition of the 2018 Topps complete sets. This card is unlike any of the other pack pulled or factory set pulled Ohtani rookie card as it has the silver foil All Star Game stamp. Factory sealed All Star complete sets is pretty much non-existent any where. As of 4/16/23, this All Star Game stamped foil Ohtani rookie has a low population of only 144 PSA 10s graded that's an increase of only 41 since 9/7/22 - 7 months time!

351 of the batting SPs have been submitted to PSA for grading (as of 4/16/23), while only 190 of the All Star stamped foil version have made it to PSA for grading. This points to the fact that a very limited amount of the All Star stamped Ohtani rookie cards were made, even less than the Batting short print version. The pop report on Topps Chrome #150 PSA 10s has grown to 7323 and the HMT1 PSA 10s has grown to 3152.

The regular #700 card has a PSA 10 pop of 5269 cards, compared to only 144 for the All Star Game stamped version (as of 4/16/23)! Compared to those pop counts, this All Star stamped rookie version #700 is super low! This card has been professionally graded a PSA 10 (which is GEM MINT), the highest grade given out by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), the top grading services in the sports card industry. Because PSA is the top grading company in terms of resale value.
