Franklin Library 100 Greatest Books Of All Time COMPLETE Leather Set 100 Volumes

This Franklin Library 100 Greatest Books of All Time series includes 100 leather bound books, and was published by Franklin Library from 1974 to 1982. All books in this 100 Greatest Books of All Time series are bound in genuine leather binding with 22k gold accents and sewn-in bookmarks.

The Franklin Library closed in 2000 making all titles in the 100 Greatest Books of All Time series out of print therefore making the collection more scarce, especially to find in a complete set such as this one. Overall, this is a very handsome collection, displays very well as shown in the photos, and would be a distinctive addition to a home library or place of business. There are no creases, tears, dog ears, writing, etc.

To be found in any of the books. You will find one paper bookplate/nameplate on the first blank page of Poems by William Shakespeare.

In some of the books you will see some light fading on the satin end pages along the borders. Some of the books have some wear or fading of various degrees to the gilt on the page edges, and when seen it is mostly on the top edge.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn shows more wear on the spine than most of the rest of the collection. It appears that a few of the books may have been previously displayed in such a way as to cause some fading on some of the spines as shown in the photos. The first photo is of this actual collection in full display, and the following photos show the entire collection in close up segments. Each box will weigh approximately 30-40 pounds and there will be 5 boxes in total labeled accordingly such as Box 1 of 5, Box 2 of 5, etc.

Inventory will have been made as to the contents of each box. Please note for safety and security. These boxes will have tracking numbers provided to you, each box will be insured. This is the complete list of The Franklin Library 100 Greatest Books Of All Time that you will receive.
