Cutting & Washington 11A Battery Regen Set, 1924, Very Clean, All Original. Nice clean example of a set everyone wants but soon finds - a nice example is hard to find. This set is not a barn find. It spent all it's service time in a warm and dry home or office. C&W built TRF with regeneration - a set with a lot of class.

Simple design, with every aspect of the set in the right place. Notice the tag under the lid. Have not found any parts replaced or alteration of the set's circuit. Set is complete with with wicked, brass base, 01A tubes and a clear 200A. The set's wood top laminations have started to loosen, but the top is very secure and not weakened.

Any lifting is at the edges once the top is closed there is no separation disable. The metal finger tip shield have started to oxidize at one spot and there is slight discoloration of almost all shields. Seems to be a similar condition all remaining example of these set have. I think this is the result imperfect metal prep before nickle plating.
