1996 - 1997 Topps NBA Basketball Factory Sealed Gold Bar Set. This set contains the Kobe Bryant rookie card, an autographed card of an NBA all time great, and six randomly selected insert cards from series 1 and 2. Additionally, you will find rookie cards of Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, Derek Fisher, Ray Allen, Marcus Camby, Stephon Marbury, Antoine Walker, and others. And you will find all time greats like Michael Jordan.
Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Kevin Garnett, Clyde Drexler, Reggie Miller, and more. This set is really, really sharp! It is factory sealed with no tears, and the box is shaped and colored as a gold bar. There is some surface scratching on the top / side of the box underneath the seal, and on the bottom, there is some type of substance near the licensing sticker.Again, this appears to be underneath the seal. Once Kobe is inducted into the Hall of Fame in the middle of this year, I don't think you will be able to get anywhere near this price for this set. He is one of the top three greatest players of all time and is a legend. Also, if an item is altered from its original condition, this will also void a return.
