This is The Debut Mattel Chatty Cathy Doll. She is Vintage 1959/1960 in her Correct Box and She is in All Original Condition. She is Not a Reproduction Doll.
This Chatty Cathy is a Lovely Display Doll and Will Make a Very Nice Gift. Now Clean She is in Very Good, Vintage Condition. She is approximately 20 tall. She has a Soft Vinyl Face With Originally Rooted Golden Blonde Hair. Chatty's Hair is Now Clean.
It is Very Full, About the Fullest I Have Seen, And Very Nice For This Model. It Has Been Washed, Conditioned and Set with Old-Fashioned Rollers. It is Soft to the Touch. It is Quite Long, Uncurled.
Her Hair And Her Bangs are the Proper Length. Her Decal Sleep Eyes are Light Blue.
They Are Bright, Clean, Clear and Centered. She has all of Long, Black Eyelashes. Both Eyes Open and Close as they should. She Has Original Freckles and Eyebrows that are A Silver/Taupe Color.
They are Still Well Noticed. She has Her Original Light Pink Lip Color and Her Original Teeth. Some Cheek Blush Has Been Added. Her Speaker is the Cloth Covered Speaker.Her Talk Box is Still Inside. She is Missing her Magic Ring So She No Longer Talks.
She Offers No Dirt, No Odors, No Marker Stains, No Cracks and No Repairs. Her Head turns freely from side-to-side.
She stands freely on her own. Her Limb Coloring is Uniform in Color. She Has the Tan Coloring That the First Issue's Are Known For. She Has All Fingers and Toes. She Has No Neck Melt and No Chatty Measles on her Face. She Comes Wearing Her Debut Red Voile Dress Set #682. Again, This is Vintage from 1959/1960 and Not a Newer Reproduction. Included is her Lovely Red Voile Sun Dress With Full Voile and Ties, Her Red Sunsuit has both snaps in the back in working order, Her White Cotton Socks, Still Nice, But Not Perfect and her Red Velvet Shoes. Her shoes are in Excellent Condition and her Stamped Japan on the Insoles. Everything is Very Nice Condition. The Red's Show Some Age Fading.I Made her This Pretty Red Grosgrain Hair Bow on Barrette. It has a Tiny White Bow in the Center With a Pearlette. She Comes with a Copy of her Floral Basket Hang Tag. The Original Has Staining so the Copy Shows Staining.
Her Box - Is Stamped #682. This is the Correct Box for this Model Doll With the Red Voile Sun Dress Set. This Box is Sometimes Called the "Suit Case Box". The Graphics Are Still Bright and the Handle is Still Attached and in Working Order.However, The Box Shows Much Wear. It has been Taped in Places. There Are Writings and Vintage Staining on It. It is in Fair Condition Only and Does Look 60 Years Old.
